Testimonials:

The testimonial page has just had an update of emails going back to 2012!! Go look there.

After spraining her ankle 11th July Sue had a few gigs to do, but she never likes to let anyone down so she managed to commandeer different drivers to drive her to events, we did the last Music in the Park, we have been taking the snakes there for 10yrs running! A talk, presentation at Leigh on Sea U3A – testimonial below – on the same day we visited a brownies group in Woodford and our regular annual visit to a Summer Holiday Activity Group in Finchley, London.

Sue had lots of plans to run two or three local, fundraising events but the ankle said no chance, so looking forward to running them when all is healed once more.

The ankle is improving, although it seems like an age, caring for the 50+ plus snakes hasn’t been an easy task either especially when there was a turnover of volunteers and for a couple of weeks there was no help!!

Sue

Can I thank you, both personally and on behalf of our group, for the talk you gave us recently.  It must have been particularly difficult with your injured ankle.  Thank you for taking the time to do this and not cancelling the event.

I have received many favourable remarks about your speech and the style in which you delivered the information.  I was astonished how you managed to get so many of the audience involved with your pets.

I hope we can arrange to have you speak at another event in the future

Thanks again for providing such a entertaining and informative speech.

Kind Regards  David Shakespear

Testimonial for snake encounters

Testimonial for snake encounters at Elisa’s 30th birthday bash; snakes are always a great hit for any age groups party, not just children in fact when I do take the snake to a mixed age group party the adults are always stealing them from the children 😉
Hi Sue,
I have been trying to leave some feedback on your site but couldn’t find an option to do so… so thought I’d email you instead.
I just wanted to thank you again for the wonderful experience with your snakes! You came round my house on Saturday 28th June, as birthday present from my borther and his wife. My mum, husband, brother and his wife were also there, and we all had such a wonderful time playing with the snakes and learning more about them!
I never knew snakes could be so friendly, fun and therapeutic. I have always wanted to handle snakes properly and get a chance to just have fun with them in a relaxed environment, so I think the service you provide is an excellent idea!
My favourite was Silka, but the other ones were lovely too 🙂
I also really admire all the work you do to rescue these poor snakes and provide them with a loving home in your sanctuary. I have posted all the photos we took on Facebook and I will most definitely be recommending you to any friends/family who are also interested in a great snake experience!
All the best,
Elisa

snake encounters – feed back

Its wonderful to get this sort of feed back:

Dear Sue
Just to say thank you to you and your team for the excellent work you did on Saturday. Two children told their aunt that it was the best day they had ever had! Both adults and children were entralled by the variety of snakes you brought with you.
Overall we raised £535.00 for Christian Aid so many thanks for all your hard work

Kind regards

Jane

Happy Customers

Happy customers call us back every year to schools, fetes and fundays and sometimes we get calls from the same family wanting live snake encounters for each of their childrens birthdays.

We receive calls from people who have kept our number for five years or more!!

It’s so rewarding to take the snakes out to meet the public and see people of all age groups enjoy handling them, of  course the snakes enjoy getting out too, we try to  give them the best housing possible but it’s stimulating for them especially in the Summer months when they can enjoy some  outside air.

We would love to edutain customers closer to home too;  having lived and worked in the London area we are continually called back which is great but it would also be good to have more customers in North Essex it takes time for people to get to know a new face and begin to book someone new, after all we have happy customers going back to 1996 where we used to live.

We are making many new contacts and find North Essex a friendly place so we are looking forward to getting lots of interesting work here in the future.

Its also rewarding to be thanked, below are pictures of a thank you card which was sent to us from a kids holiday club this Summer.

Snakes at School – Testimonial by John Harold

Glowing testimonial by John Harold after our visit to the Jenny Hammond Primary School:

Snakes at School – Testimonial by John Harold

Snakey Sue visited my school on Tuesday morning (5th February 2013) as part of our celebrations for the Chinese New Year of the Snake. She visited all our key stage 2 classes and encountered some children with a snake phobia! However, 100% of the children said they had completely changed their views on snakes during the time they handled Sue’s gorgeous reptiles. Some even talked about contacting her to get a snake of their own. Sue is so knowledgable, so calm and so passionate about snakes that this immediately puts everyone at ease. So when they finally get to meet the snakes and hold them, the children end up loving them and feeling just as comfortable as Sue does. It’s an amazing experience to actually witness opinions and fears being challenged and changed. Sue is a unique woman with a rare gift of being able to quickly and easily enable children to change long-held fears and develop a love for these misunderstood creatures. We had a brilliant morning with Sue and the kids can’t wait to have her back into school!

‘The children and youths at SPY Club, thoroughly enjoyed the evening when you came to visit us with your snakes. They were amazed how many you brought along and how they were able to get up close and handle all your slithering friends. Many thanks for a wonderful, hands-on, educational evening! Tom – SPY Club Leader’

Hi Sue,

Just a quick email to thank you for Saturday. Everyone at the party thought that you and your snakes were great!

It was informative and entertaining for the children and the adults alike. I am sure that you will get some bookings in this area as a result of Saturday – a bit closer to home for you.

Thank you again,

With regards,

Karen
